Joy in my Trials?

You want me to do what, Lord,
To find joy in my trials,
My struggles, my tests,
My challenges in this life?
 
Are you sure, Lord,
Does that even make sense,
To be happy in my testing,
To have faith to persevere?
 
Wisdom on the other side,
Triumph through our trials,
Joy in trusting in You, my God,
My Creator and my Lord…
 
Life in abundance, a calling,
A purpose for my life
In finding joy in my trials
My life on the Potter’s wheel…
