You want me to do what, Lord,
to find joy in my trials,
my struggles, my tests,
my challenges in this life?
 
Make this all make sense, Lord,
my struggle, my journey,
show me what I am to do
to be faithful to Your calling…
 
Are you sure, Lord,
does that even make sense,
to be happy in my testing,
to have faith to persevere?
 
Teach me, Lord, God,
for I am broken, shattered,
show me what I must do
to be faithful to Your calling…
