be brutally honest – v2

be brutally honest,
be open, authentic,
take risks, speak your truth,
for there to be healing,
at the rugged cross…
 
let go of shame,
chains that we carry,
forgive yourself fully,
God has carried your burdens,
to that cross…
 
walk forward boldly,
in life, in new freedom,
leave your shame, your chains,
all that you have arrived,
at the rugged cross…
 
God has redeemed us,
through the blood of Jesus,
all our sins have been washed away,
we are made clean, holy,
through the blood of Christ…
 
walk forward in freedom,
sure, of our future, our hope,
that we will be united with Christ,
with our risen Lord and Savior,
at the cross, at the end of this life…
