Tales of #Ukraina

the ancient stories, the whispers,
the melodies, the folk songs,
from the ancient ones,
the homeless orphans,
speaking to us, crying,
over the steppes beseeching,
sings for the glory,
the tales of Ukraina…
 
sing the Kozak glory,
happy ancient stories,
all that has been gathered
under the watchful poplar,
sharing their wise counsel
history they offer
songs of the Hetman, the Kozaks,
all of the tales of Ukraina…
