The Star has arrived – v2

The actors are all ready, poised,
the supporting cast, the understudies,
pacing, standing in the flies,
sneaking a peek at the audience,
ready for her entrance, to take the stage…
 
The curtain has been pulled back, ready,
the Star has arrived, vibrant, shining,
fulfilling the ancient promise,
commanding the daytime,
until night takes the stage…
