at least one little tear – v2

beside me, with me my whole life
guiding my hand, my portion
high upon the steppes,
in the darkest prison,
shining light upon me,
birthing your gift within me…
 
no matter where fate may lead me,
fortune or disaster, before me,
and when my days are over
shed at least one tear,
for I am gone forever,
your humble servant boy…
