worry is a poison, a cancer,
in our walk, in this life,
stress wicks joy, happiness,
from our days, our steps…
 
we must bring our cares, our worries,
our struggles and our burdens,
we must leave them all,
at the feet of Christ Jesus…
 
worry is a poison, a cancer,
stealing our joy, our strength,
whispers of the Devil, to defeat us,
to take our eyes off God…
 
we must bring our worries,
our fears, our doubts,
all the burdens we carry
and lay them at the feet of Christ…
