Cathartic
 
Cathartic, releasing,
some of the pain we carry,
writing them down
to wick them of power…
 
Speaking aloud
the pain we have carried,
offering others
our authentic selves…
 
Sharing, freely,
openly, transparent,
offering hope
that we are free…
 
Standing witness
to God’s mercy,
writing these words
out of God’s love…
