Free every defender
those who fought against evil
every hero that is held captive
honor their bravery, their sacrifice,
bring them home to their beloved Ukraine
to the place for which they give their all
return them to their homeland,
the place that they love…
 
Free every defender
these warriors, these heroes,
from their days, years of torture,
honor all they have lost, all they give,
for the cause of freedom, survival,
the embrace of their loved ones
for their home, their homeland
bring them home to Ukraine
the place that they love…
