the anger I carried
the smile that I lost
the abuse I suffered
that I buried so deep…
shame though it wasn’t mine
when he touched me as he did
a stranger I didn’t know
but a weight I carried…
silent too many years,
my life changed forever
not trusting for so long
scars on my soul…
the anger I carried
the smile I lost
now an epiphany of redemption
my home in paradise…
the smile that I lost
the abuse I suffered
that I buried so deep…
when he touched me as he did
a stranger I didn’t know
but a weight I carried…
my life changed forever
not trusting for so long
scars on my soul…
the smile I lost
now an epiphany of redemption
my home in paradise…
