The Enormity of Their Crimes – v2

A decade of battle, of terror,
the genocide of Russia,
the destruction, the murders,
seeking to erase Ukraine,
these good and brave people…
 
The enormity of their crimes,
almost too many to number,
caught on camera, on video,
innocent blood in the street,
in too many battle fields…
 
The world calls it attrition,
a bland meaningless word,
for those in the trenches,
in the villages, their cities,
it is destruction of their world…
 
There will be a reckoning,
that day will surely come,
their war crimes, terror,
against Ukraine, Ukrainians,
written on Russia’s tombstone…

committed by Russia and the enormity of their war crimes
across 11 years of war and genocide…
Inspired by the attack on Russian General Yaroslav Moskalik in Moscow and
reporting of torture, mutilation and murder of journalist Viktoriia Roshchyna,
on top of the three years of genocide, terror and destruction by Russia and
the video of Rada Security Committee Secretary Kostenko, about the
long reach of Ukrainian intelligence services…
