the weight of that burden

I know only in part
the weight of that burden
what Christ carried to the cross
to set me free…
 
I don’t remember
all the sin I have committed
He alone knows
my sin in the future…
 
I fear the knowledge
the revelation of that burden
what carried to the cross
to set me free…
 
I dread fully knowing
the pain that He suffered
what Christ endured
for all the sin in my life…
 
I need to know fully,
for me to be freed completely
every sin I have committed
was nailed to the cross…
