#dancing with the #mermaids

struggling with his own kind
a fish out of water, an alien,
dancing with the mermaids,
the lure of the sea…
 
ancient water calling
his inner voice, his spirit,
dancing under the waves,
a nocturnal dream…
 
lost on land, struggling,
grabbing a mask of protection
dancing with the mermaids,
his primordial scheme…
