Fallen from the heights, from glory,
subservient to their master,
the awful cost to freedom…
A kernel of hope dormant…
 
Are the people blind,
beaten into submission,
the awful cost of compliance,
their bending of the knee…
 
Crippled, contorted, hunchbacked,
three souls barred from heaven,
subservient, compliant, bound in fetters,
in chains they made themselves…
 
Are the people blind, seeking
The Great Grave of the Hetman,
ancient fount of freedom,
high upon the heights…
