Praying the Psalm

His song, so special,
so right, so rich
We pray the Psalm,
murmuring the words of love,
of assurance, of quiet
we hold dear
in word pictures
a cascade of thoughts,
of holy belief
in the love of the Shepherd
for each of His sheep
