song, so special,
there
on the cross
sung
by Jesus
so
right, so rich
When
Christ became our sacrifice
We
pray the Psalm,
murmuring
the words of love,
of
assurance, of quiet
of
loss, of promise
of
all fulfilled
words
that we hold dear
in
vivid word pictures
a
cascade of thoughts,
in
this ancient song,
of
holy belief
in
the love of the Shepherd
for
each of His sheep
for
the Creator, for the Lamb
our
Savior, climbing
there
on the cross
