Every gift I have been given,
My life, my way, my breath,
Every gift is from You, Lord,
You place good on my path...
 
How I long to be mindful,
Reverent in my thoughts,
Taking time to thank, to praise You,
For Every gift in this life...

If I am honest, truthful,
Is from Your hand, oh God,
More than I can ever ask for...
 
How I seek to praise You,
To offer prayers to You,
To be mindful of Your gifts,

Unwavering Support – v3

What will it take for NATO,
for the United States, for their allies,
to give Ukraine unwavering support,
to open the armories, a surge,
all the arms they need, now,
in this critical moment…
 
Russia is unrelenting, terror,
a brutal regime, monsters, Orcs,
butchering cultural icons, history,
attrition, genocide, beheaded POWs,
all that should have shocked the conscience,
that should have caused us all to act…
 
Three years of existential terror,
centuries truly, dominion, cruelty,
the assaults, the meat grinders,
civilians thrown into the breach,
a war of genocide, pure evil,
blood running in the streets…
 
When will we finally act, fully,
abandoning fears of escalation,
offering unwavering support for them,
when will we rise to this moment, to agree,
that Russia must be defeated, now,
before any peace will come…

attrition, brutal combat, terror,
scar tissue torn wide open,
present day, not history, alive,
open wounds, bleeding, suffering,
their dead crying from their soil…
 
a nation become a wasteland,
blood of the innocent crying,
shouting for life, for justice,
those who commit such evil,
must be placed in the dock…
 
oh, defenders have courage,
you fight on the side of Right,
for freedom, independence, justice,
allies rise, stand beside them,
there is no time to waste…
 
innocents attacked, genocide,
open wounds, bleeding, suffering,
cities bombed again and again,
evil of human safaris, massacres,
oh God, when will this evil end…

scars that never heal – v3

cities devastated, destroyed, attacked…
Izium, Kharkiv, Odesa, Poltava, Kherson,
too many cities and towns in the crosshairs,
wounds constantly being reopened,
scars that never heal, bleeding,
rage against these innocent people,
merely wanting to survive…
 
a hell of evil, of Satan, of Russia,
not history, forgotten, receding,
living memory, present, with them,
scars that never heal, ripped open,
a testament to resolve, to anger, terror,
genocide against these people, victims,
like Abel crying from blood-wet soil…
 
cities devastated, destroyed, attacked…
Izium, Kharkiv, Odesa, Poltava, Kherson,
too many cities and towns in the crosshairs,
open wounds, scars that never heal, bleeding,
because their neighbor is evil, subhuman,
spawn of Satan, of Mordor, of darkness,
spewing bile of terror, attrition, genocide…

three years crying into the void – v3

so many moments, so much struggle,
striving to catch the attention of the world,
for them to care, for them to act,
in this their existential moment…
 
three years crying into the void, exhausted,
seeking to help this noble people triumph,
too many leaders failing to lead, to act,
to rise to meet this moment, this challenge…
 
evil given sway, power, appeasement,
impunity through our indifference,
believing the threats of the bully,
keeping our arsenals in check…
 
making of them servants, proxies,
in a war we would not fight, attrition,
fighting our one common enemy,
but making them pay an awful price…
 
it is late, but we can choose better,
standing now with this noble people,
standing for right against injustice,
to stop evil, this war of terror, of genocide…

pray in dependence

pray in dependence
within the vine, the body,
seek first to praise Him
who gives us life…
 
pray first my siblings,
all of us children of God,
pray first, always,
bring your life to God…
 
pray in dependence,
needing God’s protection,
His provision, His hand
upon us in every step…
 
pray first my siblings,
for we are all children of God,
pay to our Father,
in heaven above…

peace in confessing

we find peace in confessing,
in laying down our burdens,
in coming before Almighty God,
humbly, in prayer…
 
we find peace in leaving
our burdens, our worries,
every stumbling block we carry,
at the feet of the risen Christ…
 
we find peace in prayer,
praying without ceasing,
praying first, always,
submitting our petitions to God…
 
we find peace in leaving,
our worries to Christ Jesus,
He will gift us peace in our spirit,
if we trust and believe…

worry is a poison, a cancer,
stress wicks joy, happiness,
in our walk, in this life,
we must bring our cares, our worries,
our struggles and our burdens,
we must leave them all,
at the feet of Christ…
 
worry is a poison, a cancer,
stealing our joy, our strength,
whispers of the Devil, to defeat us,
to take our eyes off God,
we must bring our worries,
all the burdens we carry
and lay them at the feet of Christ…

I bring my cares

I bring my cares, my burdens,
I lay my worries
at the feet of Christ…
 
I am so weak,
my Father God in heaven,
oh, Spirit, calm my trembling feet…
 
Give me peace, Lord,
for I am broken,
I long to be a vessel
of Your boundless love…
 
I am so weak,
but You are the Almighty,
I lay all my worries
before Your throne…

Trust God to restore you

bow before God’s throne,
lay your fears at the feet of Jesus,
do not carry your burdens alone,
there are too heavy…
 
Trust God to restore you,
for God to heal you,
your brokenness a journey,
a path to your righteousness…
 
bring all you are, hurting,
to the feet of Jesus,
abide in the vine, the waters,
of God’s redeeming love…
 
Stand resolute, faithful,
sure of God’s provision,
know in your heart, by faith,
that healing will come…

Unwavering Support- v2

What will it take for NATO,

for the United States, for their allies,

to give Ukraine unwavering support,

all the arms they need, now…

Butchered cultural icons, history,

attrition, genocide, beheaded POWs,

all that should have shocked the conscience,

that should have caused us to act…

Three years of existential terror,

civilians thrown into the breach,

a war of genocide, pure evil,

blood running in the streets…

When will we finally act, fully,

to rise to this moment, to commit,

Russia must be defeated,

before any peace will come…

three years crying into the void – v2

three years crying into the void, exhausted,
seeking to help this noble people,
too many leaders failing to lead,
to rise to meet this challenge…
 
evil given sway, power, appeasement,
impunity through our indifference,
believing the threats of the bully,
keeping our arsenals in check…
 
making of them servants, proxies,
in a war we would not fight, attrition,
fighting our one common enemy,
but paying an awful price…
 
it is late, but we can choose better,
standing now with this noble people,
standing for right against injustice,
to stop the evil this war, of terror, of genocide…

open wounds bleeding – v2

scar tissue torn wide open,
present day, not history, alive,
open wounds, bleeding,
the dead crying from their soil…
 
blood of the innocent crying,
shouting for life, for justice,
those who commit such evil,
must be placed in the dock…
 
oh, defenders have courage,
you fight on the side of Right,
allies rise, stand beside them,
there is no time to waste…
 
open wounds, bleeding,
cities bombed again and again,
the evil of human safaris, massacres,
oh God, when will this evil end…
