The Womb of the Dawn – v3

From the cloak of night

the way of dreaming

the vision preceding

the coming sunrise

Birthing the day

from the womb of the dawn

our long night ending

each new day coming to life

Into Your loving hands

under the dome You created

a treasure for us awaiting

shimmering in new day’s light.

in the vision of God
in God’s holy kingdom
all raised up
raised to equal station
the poor with the princes
the lords of the earth
the lowly, the outcasts
they are lifted up
