God still speaks

God still speaks
God still speaks to us
as God spoke in the past
through the prophets, through Jesus
God still speaks
God still speaks to us
offering us hope through
our trials, our journey

through the mouth of Jesus

God spoke to us again
not through the prophets
not through the scriptures
God spoke directly to us
through the mouth of Jesus
God walked with us
in God’s good time.

a name greater than the angels

all power, all authority
a name greater than the angels
so is the name of Jesus, the Messiah,
the Son of the living God
a name forever
greater than the angels
all nations are at His feet
His Kingdom is without end.
