The Musings of Our Hearts

Hearing when words are unspoken
even when they will not come
God walking beside us
hearing the musings of our hearts

Able to hold and to guide us
redeeming us from our sin
his grace upon us
leading us, ever, still

From the bellow of the ship

In the words he didn’t understand
the pain they were suffering
his hand upon their sorrow
leading him to you

Coming to turn around
his life changing our own
adding words of your grace
to the melody of their souls

God hears us from our deepest yearnings,
even when words don't come.
Such is our master’s grace
He hears the melody in our hearts.
