from history but also in this present,
the Kobzar, the Prophet, the Poet...
He is the hope of these ancient people 
He is the Rock on which they stand...
 
He is their Father, their North Star,
The culture that unites them,
Ukraine’s hope in this moment...
On the Rock of Taras Shevchenko 
The Ukrainian people stand...
 
He is the one essential Voice,
for independence, for freedom,
He suffered for her greatly...
His is the Great Grave opened,
revealing Ukraine’s future glory...
 
Shevchenko is the Bard, the soul,
The life force, the exemplar for them,
He is the Hetman, Ukraine’s conscience...
On the Rock of Taras Shevchenko

Focus on the one thing,
Your need for Jesus,
for healing, for eternal life...
 
Fall at the feet of Jesus,
Offer Him your worship,
Only Jesus can heal us,
He can save us from death...
 
Worship the God here with us,
The Spirit abiding within,
Bring Him your pain, your weakness,
In Christ do we live...
 
There may be a cost in this life,
To reject the things of this world,
But oh, the reward is so much greater
When we fall before the Lord...

The rest of the story
their remaining journey

History does not record
most of the lives Christ changed,
Most of them are not recorded
down to this day...
 
So many have been faithful
And yet we are forgotten
Only a precious few
are remembered in history...
