Crying for Crimea,
for Ukraine,
for the pain of
conquest
the ripping apart
stitching together
the movement of
forces
the invasion of a
sovereign state.
Geopolitics, pawns
in the middle,
of arrogance and
power
bare-knuckle brute
strength
quiet diplomacy,
appeasement,
all of it failing,
in the crucible of history
under abject aggression,
a terrorist state.
