powers here on earth may fight us,
we must strive forward courageous,
for God is by our side…
 
We must stand in the gap, we must be strong,
though the nations may be against us,
we must not turn, we must not waver,

walk toward His light;
Be ever mindful, conscious,
of His power, of His might.
 
Seek Christ’s presence, focus,
stop, sit at our Savior’s feet;
Turn from the noise, the chaos,
be mindful of who you seek.

left after their choice

giving into the darkness

storms that were raging

leaving this mortal life

one who was truly lost

a survivor left behind

to walk forward without them

this friend, this loved one,

who gave into the darkness,

one who was truly lost.
