predestined, created – v2

though we are unworthy of life,
manifestly evil, in the flesh,
God blessed us in Christ Jesus
predestined, created, redeemed,
we are formed from the dust
molded in our clay, alive,
we are given life in Him only,
in these promises of God…
 
in wisdom, in revelation, awareness,
in the truth of God’s great gifts to us
conscious of how God has blessed us,
how we are protected under His wings,
we can go forward confident, certain,
predestined, created, redeemed,
all eternity lies before us,
in Christ all is revealed…

people who are free – v3

We are not condemned,
prisoners, judged,
the sanction upon us,
through the blood of Christ…

We are free, chosen,
selected by God,
people who are free;
but we wander as captives,
not sharing our joy,
not believing the Word.
 
Christ set us free,
we must accept this by faith,
the beginning, the end
how we respond,
looking to those before us.
 
We must witness, we must share,
the message we are given,
the freedom flowing,
as living waters of life.
 
We must share our joy,
to all who will listen,
even to those
who have hearts,
that are hardened,
like water chiseling stone
 
We will be changed, in time,
continuing, ever, flowing,
sharing the one message,
pouring out salvation.

Our salvation story – v2

If this is the ending, the end

every I statement about me,

of the world, not of the holy

not worthy of a follower of Christ

Our focus is selfish, self-centered,

if our conversion, our saving is about us -

I am redeemed, God died for me,

Christ has saved me from death

God still not at the center

when we focus on ourselves

our salvation story should be

a gift to the world, the flesh

Only if the beginning is

not the end to itself, finished;

our saving is for a purpose

to share God, the good news

Our lives are to be a vessel

to be filled, to be poured,

sharing as we are given

to others, life forevermore

Share Jesus freely,

Share Jesus boldly, clearly;

Share the Light within us,

God’s light is not meant to be hidden.

Share Jesus richly,

Share Jesus lavishly, joyfully;

Share as the nard was poured,

let us speak boldly.

Share Jesus loudly,

Share Jesus quickly, abundantly;

Share because there is no time to waste

the harvest will soon come.
