open to God’s Spirit – v2

written pages, perhaps,

paragraphs and illustrations,

a sermon seemingly complete

perfect in itself

but these were notes only

if she is truly open

they were a starting point only

for the Spirit of God

she was open to God’s Spirit

giving to God’s leading

speaking in the power

of God abiding within

the words already there

seemingly already written

but they were only notes truly

when she had given control

to the Spirit of God
