Choosing to Stay Rich

Unwilling to give
holding onto his fetters
not willing to follow
humble, like a child

Choosing to stay rich
in things of this earth
sad in his knowing
his wealth was all he had

Unable to part
with the treasures of this world
failing to follow
when the Lord called his name

into his loving arms
feeling his embrace
let the children come
entering in
oh let the children come
into the love of God
