In life known but unknown
his work, his worth hidden
known almost in whispers,
in truths meant to be known…
His power, a revelation,
in truth a mystery, a treasure,
that his words were highly favored,
though officially they were unknown…
Known only in whispers
in pamphlets, in manuscripts,
shared in the underground,
longing to have breath, to have life…
His power, a revelation,
burgeoning through the ether,
now his words are the fuel, the fire,
that burns within Ukraine…
