Now the Son of Man is Glorified – v3

Now the Son of Man in glorified

in the steps now set in motion;

The Passion has begun;

My time has now come.

 

Now God is glorified

in My sacrifice, obedience;

All that had been prophesied

is now coming to pass.

 

Now the Son of Man is glorified

in submission to My purpose;

All will be revealed, fulfilled,

in the moments to come.

I Am the Word Made Flesh

 

I Am Love

I Am Light

I Am Water

I Am Bread

I Am the Way

I Am the Vine

I Am the Gate

I Am the Truth

I Am the Lamb

I Am the Messiah

 

I Am the Good Shepherd

I Am One who came down

I Am the One to be raised up

I Am the One who will enter the tomb

I Am the One who will be resurrected

I Am the One seated with God

I Am the Lamb glorified

I Am God

I Am.

Our life, a journey, a choice

a letting go of the temporal,

the imperfect, the human,

loosing the bonds of mortal flesh

No more pain, no more struggle

free from all worry

transcending the mortal plane

rising to our heavenly home

Preparing for the journey

from time to eternity

letting go of the earth

dancing on the streets of gold

May you have peace on the journey

the final steps you are taking

may God grant you peace

until God welcomes you home

hidden in the scripture

the ancient texts revealing

the steps of our lives

the path that God has written

penned for each one of us

scribed in His book of life

before time began

the path may seem hidden to us

hidden in the scripture

in the sands of time;

but if we focus, if we trust,

if we walk on the water

God  reveals our path,

the way forward for us

God wants us to follow

the footsteps of Jesus

the way that leads

to heaven above
