Even in joy
after the Resurrection
some of them doubted
while worshiping God...
 
Some doubted
standing with Jesus
our risen Lord and Savior
alive, now wholly God...
 
Yet, they were commissioned
to make disciples
so we too walk
with stumbling feet...
 
We are commissioned
with the saints before us
even when we doubt
when we struggle in this life...
 
Christ is still risen
sanctified in heaven
We work in these fields
until He returns...

The coals burning our lips

our confession of sin;

Cleansed on the altar

dying with Him.

Commissioned like Isaiah

to boldly speak the truth;

A calling of God

to accept His holy work.

the courts of his temple
the fabric of his robe

wonders unknown
