not ending in despair, in death,
for any of God’s people,
a resurrection hope,
guiding the faithful.
 
serving in the desert,
in the courts of Babylon,
the clash of empires, moments,
all part of God’s plan
 
a resurrection hope
for all of God’s people,
all held in the Creator’s hand,
the Father of the nations.

The anti-Christ, the Beast

shall come, shall be in control

of the people of the Book

the prince of the earth.

The people with see

Him as the Messiah

but His days are numbered

in the pages of that Book.

The Beast shall come

but His reign is not eternal;

how can we kill another

how can we stand in judgment

how can we be silent

in the face of injustice

if God knows us, truly,

if we believe these words of scripture

if we believe God’s promises are true

God said He numbered our days

that He knows the hairs on our head

that He knew us, before the beginning of time

as we were formed in our mother’s womb

the battle that raged – v3

Seeing a vision,

a battle to come,

of a great war, a battle

at the end of the age;

Trembling, fasting

seeking God in prayer.

The battle that raged,

the battle in heaven,

between the forces of God

and the forces of hell

before the angel arrived.

The battle that raged,

beyond our vision,

while he fasted,

while he prayed to God;

A battle raged in the spiritual realm

The forces fighting

to keep God from him

to keep God’s messenger

from reaching the righteous;

The fervent prayers raised

by his faithful heart.

all part of a plan revealing

only when God is ready
