With Faith – v2

In the absence, the void

without faith

no movement to step out

to leave our comfort

to follow, to go,

when we are called

none of this comprehensible

With faith, alone

by the Spirit indwelling

able to see a vision

to dream dreams

to believe in a future

a calling to go, to do

to be what we were meant to be

in our walk of faith,

Knowing we can trust in

the promises of God

Here with us ever

on this holy journey;

Sharing the story of His coming

and His return to the earth

Moving beyond the dust

the things of the world,

Seeking ever after

the glory of God

With Trust

Our lives in hope
in a sense of love
with trust in our Savior
in the living God
who reigns on high
Knowing God
is ever with us
lifting us up
from the dust
of this earth
calling us
back to him
offering us
his boundless love

in a state of peace
holy grace
moving me ever

to Your face
To see You Father
to touch the robe, Your feet

The Urgency of the Words

When they come to my mind
needing to come out
to be written down and shared
his glory, his grace, his love

Words with urgency
so many who have not yet heard
the love of God revealed
in the pages of the word

So many times, coming to a verse
a thought, a voice speaking to me
to share the love of Christ
the Spirit, the Father as well

All of them, the three together
the same one God
different voices, roles to share
the triune deity

The care of the loving father
the example of the son
the spirit guiding us each day
all of them wanting us to hear

The urgency of the words
to turn from the way of the world
to come as a servant
needing the grace of the Lord

A passion for the message
the words I need to share
a gift of the creator
given to me with care

Bursting into my consciousness
as I make my way
needing to be written down
to find the light of day

The words a passion
given from the Lord
a ministry of love
the words I have been given
hope for all of us here below

Praying, as the words come
flowing out of me
a place for the words
for all the world to see
a market for my message
the glory of our creator
the grace of our savior
