Made Right With God

We can shout with gladness
rise with the choir of angels
singing God’s praises
thankful for his grace

Made right with God
not by anything we have done
only by the love of Jesus
praying he will enter in

Walking with our savior
that we may claim his name
doing his work while we have breath
sharing his mission of love

To Belong to Christ

Our hope for ourselves
for the whole human race
our prayer for everyone
that we would belong to Christ
sheep of his one flock

Dying with our savior
into the depths with him
rising with him on high
in victory, sharing
his eternal message of love

To Know His Power

Revealed by the Spirit
the essence of Christ, love
to know his power
God made man
walking humbly on the earth

Emptying himself completely
Filled by God’s grace
pouring out his love
at the foot of the cross

Dying in our place
the sacrifice, the lamb
washing away our sin
that we may rise in him

Teaching us through the Spirit
more of his story to unfold
our choices in this world
being his brethren
the sheep of his flock

To Know Christ

Intimacy with our savior
our deepest desire
to know Christ
our shepherd
who gave his life for me

A revelation of his goodness
the smile in his eyes
to touch his nail-pierced hands
walking with him
as I walk this land

Feeling him with me
his spirit guiding my steps
speaking deep within me
his presence abiding
quieting my spirit
giving me endless peace
