where is my faith
where is my trust
in God, for all
not asking too much
why do I doubt
why am I afraid
timid in my walk
not trusting in God

all of us gifted
to share with others
the truth of the love of God
revealed to us
the witness we are to give
to everyone we meet

all of gifted
to share with others
the grace we have been given
in the full measure of the gift
to reach out to our neighbors
ambassadors of our savior
to offer all we have been given
in the holy way of the Christ

Words on Her Door

Words of comfort
of hope, of truth
the promises of God
written in meter and verse

God telling us something
in each of the scriptures
something to hold onto
to change our very lives

Words on her door
the canon of the bible
offered daily
to remind of us You

Holy scripture
down through the ages
speaking then as now
if we listen to the word of God

An Everlasting Rock

Not subject to change
to erosion or earthquake
not rolling down
crumbling into dust
God ever steadfast
ever and unchanging
His love and protection
in this we can ever trust
