I want abundant life,
the life that You offer,
reach down to save me,
raise me from the waters…
 
Pull me up onto the waves,
from the depths where I am drowning,
set me on solid ground,
I long to be Your witness…
 
I want abundant life,
to be yoked with You, Jesus,
I long to feel Your touch
for You to walk with me…
 
Yoke me to Yourself,
my risen Lord, Jesus,
walk right beside me,
as close as breath…

This woman’s faith
gathering the crumbs
below the table,
healing in her belief,
her daughter released
from her nagging affliction…
 
In His answer, blessing,
a foretaste of the loaves
of the banquet to come
the crumbs for the dogs
now the full meal, the bounty,
the wedding feast of the Lord

Christ displaying power,
a miraculous feeding,
as many as ten thousand fed
on the hillside that day
 
Five loaves and two fishes
fed an army, a people,
all could testify, could witness,
to Christ’s awesome power

Christ calls us to come,
to walk on water with Him,
to trust, to believe, to go,
as He Himself has called us.
 
Christ calls us to purpose,
to our calling within Him,
the Spirit moves within us,
guiding our trembling feet.
 
Christ makes a way for us,
to redeem us, to save us,
Christ calls us to our path,
to walk on water with Him.

Christ calls us to come,

to walk on water with Him,

to trust, to believe, to go,

to a calling within Him,

God makes a way for us,
God pours out abundance,
to return us to God, to have life,

until Your Way becomes my way – v2

I will ever seek You, Lord,
I will strive to be with You,
to make my Way straight,
to follow Your calling to me,
Your call to me, “Come.”
 
Until Your Way become my way,
I will strive to be faithful, to walk with You,
I will seek to let Your words, Your Spirit,
lead me and guide me into Your Light,
so that I might conform my steps to You.
 
I seek You, Lord, always,
I strive to be with You,
to make my Way straight,
to follow Your calling to me,
Your call to me, “Come.”

I seek You, Lord,

Christ calls to us
offering an invitation,
Christ is the Way,
to God, to Salvation.
 
Christ calls to us,
to get out of the boat,
to trust His calling,
the Way to eternal life.
 
Christ calls to us
to boldly come to Him
to walk with our Savior,
the Way to God above.

Yeast for the Dough – v2

The world needing to hear
to taste the Kingdom,
more yeast to be added,
more water, more flour,
so that all would believe.
 
Mixing the yeast, water,
sharing more widely, evenly,
getting our hands dirty
working, kneading, lovingly,
all through the dough.

When he saw the wind – v3

Going to Jesus, going to His Master,
When he heard His voice, in the night,
when the Rock walked on the waters,
going, acting on faith.
 
Then he doubted, he stumbled,
When he saw the wind,
when fear caught him,
then Peter began to sink…
 
The Rock walking on the waters,
Until he lost focus, his eyes off Jesus,
when he saw the wind,
when he had doubt…
 
He felt the breeze, the waves,
He listened to the whisper,
to his internal voice, doubting,
Peter began to sink…

describing the moment,
Going to Jesus, going to His Master,
when the rock walking on the waters,
When he saw the wind,
when fear caught him,
When Peter began to sink…
 
When the rock walking on the waters,
Losing His focus, his eyes off Jesus,
When he saw the wind,
when he had doubt,
listening to the whisper,
to his internal voice,
When each of us begin to sink…

The Winds Calling – v4

The Winds calling,
ever blowing, sowing fear, doubt,
pulling under the waves.
 
We need to be bold, to listen,
to focus, only to our God.
 
Our feet would be steady,
there upon the waters, walking,
boldly going, honoring our call.
 
How much we miss in life
when we listen to the Wind.
