Never thirst again – v2

We come to the well,
We dip our cups in the water,
the living water of Christ, of Jesus,
never to thirst, to hunger,
to live, to rise again.
 
We come to the well, believe,
We drink of the living water,
we are filled with Christ, His love,
the way to life, to salvation,
to live, to rise again.

Called to Save Him

Out of love
God’s calling
called to save him
weak and helpless
lying in the ditch

A stranger responding
true to the song
the command of the psalm
freeing the captive
from the powerful
offering comfort
that they would know
the presence of God

Mercy for the Stranger

The abject example
the lesson of the story
showing mercy for strangers
on the Jericho Road

The unclean stranger
helped by the other
not by his people
tied to ritual

Being love, in his action,
offering the stranger
mercy, assistance
just what he needed
as the Lord would want.

The teaching of our savior
in the answer to the lawyer
how to live righteously
by how we treat the stranger
offering what they need.
