A yoke we have

The words of conversion
of the replacement of grace
filling our hearts
healing from above

Love the last word
not the yoke of the law
focused on Christ
who gives life to us all

Unable to Bear

Failing completely
in our feeble humanness
unable to bear
the weight of the law
Needing God’s grace
the coming of Christ
to take on our sin
to give us new life

The faith to believe
called to his feet
jumping up
out of his seat

The faith to be redeemed
to be healed
in the name of Christ
all who believe

Jumping up
out of our place
walking with him
in a state of grace
