sparks of eternity

in the bits of creation

gems on the earth

within all of us

the Divine within

the Spirit illumines

calling us to God

to walk with Him

the gems alive within

hear the murmur

of eternity, of life

alive within me

the pathways, the choices – v2

The pathways, the choices,

the trains rattling, converging,

many ways, many paths,

we make many choices in life.

But there is only one path,

the straight and narrow,

written for each us at the beginning

before the beginning of time.

How will we discernment, listen,

for the path God has written;

how will we choose wisely,

choosing the right way?

Listen to the Spirit

God speaking within us,

for the right lane, the way,

that leads to light, to life.

Converging, diverging, merging,

a passageway, choosing;

seeking to walk faithful,

with Almighty God.

Choices, decisions, discernment,

hearts that are giving;

seeking God’s way

the path of light.

Lanes in the cobblestone,

rails written in the pavement;

leading to or away

from our Lord, our God.

Seeking the road, the Spirit guiding,

the way God has written for us;

striving to walk faithful

on Christ’s righteous path.
