Can you count the dewdrops – v3

Can you count the dewdrops on living flower petals,
the number of stars above or grains of sand on the seashore,
Can you count the hairs on your heads, the number of your breaths,
Do you know how many minutes are in the sum of your days,
How could you, for they are a mystery known only to God...
 
We know only by faith, by striving, by journeying forward,
by trusting, by believing God knows us fully, from before
we were created, in the stillness of our mother's womb,
in secret, the number of hairs on our heads, our minutes,
the path of our lives, the numbers of our days…
 
God alone knows His plans, our calling, our purpose,
while we strive on this earth, while we walk, while we wander,
while we sojourn, while we journey, believing in God,
in God’s promise, for a plan, a path, for a purpose,
our joy, fulfillment, far beyond what we understand…

Walk consciously, mindfully,
breathe intentionally, slowly,
walk on the Earth, on the soil,

Walk on the World we have been gifted,
the One we are to love, to nurture,
walk slowly, walk mindfully,
reverently, on this Good Earth…

From the beginning, perfection - v5

From their beginning, perfection

from conception, completion,

completeness in each kernel,

All of the flowers’ lives, each flower,

the leaves, the branches, the bunches,

already present, emerging, nascent,

in the bud before their blooming.

All the complexity of life

the DNA, the code, unfurling,

the completeness of each flower,

All these captured in miniature

in the kernel, the infinitesimal,

already present, emerging, nascent,

in the bud before their blooming.

From the beginning, perfection - v4

From their beginning, perfection
