Seeds of last Autumn

clutched by the young branches,

holding on for a moment longer,

Shoots of this Springtime

of our hope for Summer,

now bursting into view.

Captured together, sharing,

fading khaki and brilliant chartreuse,

stirring, intertwined, mingling -

A change of the seasons

awakening, surging,

alive, exploding into view.
