We need to be still,
Within the battle raging,
We need to trust God,
We must surrender control.
 
We need to have faith in our God,
God will fulfill His promise,
God will never leave of forsake us,
God will fight our battles.

Our Lord fights for us #God #protection

We pick up the banner,
We charge into battle,
We think if it has to be done
We need to do the work…
 
But we lose sight of our Father,
of our Creator, our Savior,
We forget His promise,
That God fights for us…
 
We only need to be still,
To trust in God’s protection,
the battle raging in the spiritual realm
is not ours but the Lord’s to fight.

When you are lost, underwater,
when you struggle, in trials,
when you pass through the fires,
God will be with you, always,
You are never alone.
 
God is there with you keeping you,
dry in the waters, safe in the fires,
in your journey, in your trials,
in times of trouble, of struggle,
in every step of your life.

Out of the water

came the dry earth

all life beginning

as our own birth

living waters of life

Life from the waters

the chaos, the maelstrom

God creating, speaking

let there be light

God’s living breath.

Out of the water

our journey, our path

our struggles, our trials

keeping us down

caught by the earth.

Life from the waters

if we turn unto God

walking, faithful

trusting, believing,

focused on our God.

Out of the water – v3

Out of the water

came the dry earth

all life beginning

as our own birth

from darkness to light

Life from the waters

the chaos, the maelstrom

God creating, speaking

let there be light

let creation emerge.

Out of the water

our journey, our path

the struggles, the trials

keeping us down

our joy hidden.

Life from the waters

a quickening, breath,

if we turn unto God

walking, faithful

focused on the Lord.

One Heart at a Time – v4

Like hungry seeds, thirsty souls

ready for God’s living waters

yearning, seeking after God

our ministry, our service

in this troubled world

our calling, our purpose

reaching out, reaching

planting seeds of love

in one heart at a time.

Reach out, seek, find

ways to touch even one heart

one person hurting, struggling,

spreading God’s love

Christ’s message, our hope,

to hearts that are ready

like hungry seeds, thirsty souls

ready for God’s living waters.

Life from the waters

Into the Living Waters – v2

Following his call, the urging

the calling of God deep within him

throwing starfish back into the ocean

so many starfish, miles of beach

saving those he can, one at a time.

We each walk that beach

the world so vast, so lonely,

so many do not know

the indwelling of God’s Spirit,

the message of Jesus Christ.

Gently cast the starfish

back into the living waters

saving one at a time

accepting the grace of Christ

the ocean of God’s love.
