Thank God for that blessing,
it didn't end in darkness, on Friday,
our story continued, Sunday came,
Light came, resurrection, victory…
 
Love climbed the rugged cross,
Love entered the tomb,
Love lay in silence on Saturday,
But Love rose again…
 
It didn't end in darkness, on Friday,
there is more to our story,
as the blood covered the Israelites,
Christ’s Love set us free…

I stood with the others on Golgotha,
I swung that heavy hammer,
I wielded the mallet,
I swung the sledge,
that crucified Christ…
 
My sin nailed Christ to the cross,
I hammered each of them,
thick, heavy spikes,
