Christ could sing the Servant
Song,
for He lived out the
verses,
the pain he suffered
the humiliation God faced
in the Passion, on the
cross.
Christ was fully human
the torture caused him
pain
yet he submitted fully
drinking every drop
of the cup of sorrows, our
shame.
He gave his all unto God
submitting his human will
to God;
He gave his back to those
who struck him
He was our Lamb, our Sacrifice,
going to our cross.
