Quickly – v8

Quickly, at once, now
motion repeating;
words of power, urgent
without any delay;
urgency in this message
the soon coming of Christ

His work important
no time to waste;
power in the now, this moment,
now handed down to us;
the work of the ages
sharing His gift of grace

Words explosive, seemingly as if
today were the only day to share, to do,
to offer them God’s grace;
needing to share, to shout
needing to hurry, to run
that all would know Christ,
the Son of God today

The incredible gift, grace
an urgent message, present
for the whole world;
fulfillment of scripture
leave everything, to go, to follow
to come to Christ

Quickly, at once, go,
now, this moment;
motion repeating
without any delay, going;
the message of Jesus
coming now, coming today

Is it already 1/2 way through the week? Wow!
And in the sixties in late October!!! How great is that!
If we only had today to enjoy, what would we do
to make it an amazing day?

This is such good news

This such good news
that God uses the broken
for we are all broken
all sinners, all sheep
seeking to follow our Master
to go where He would lead

I know I am broken

I know I am broken
a sinner from my birth
I am flawed just like David,
like Paul I do what I hate
even when Christ calls me
from my flesh, my life

Christ still calls the broken

like the tax collectors, the fishermen
those from the wrong side of the tracks
Christ still calls the broken
the sinners, the outcasts
to be about His work
Christ still calls the broken
those shattered, those hurting
calling us to serve Him
while we walk here on earth
