Forgetting My Sin
Remembering my iniquities no more
forgetting my sin
forgiving my wickedness
my estrangement from him
A new chance, a new covenant
the words of God living
inscribed on each believer’s heart
sharing God’s love with you and me

We Would Know God
As with the ancient people
those of the descendants
of Abraham, of Jacob
the flock of David
We would know God
if we would only see
the love of our creator
poured out for you and me
Come to save us
to atone for our iniquities
a new covenant beating
alive in our hearts today
The spirit, the law
beating with us
walking ever with us
on the journey of our lives

We Will Know God
Every one of the people
all the children of God
chosen and appointed
anointed for God’s purpose
all will know God
in the person of Jesus
for in the son we know the father
the creator and perfector of our faith

that can crumble
not on books or scrolls
that can burn or be forgotten

when we are choosing
right from what is wrong
God’s law in our hearts
guiding our feet
to choose the better path

listening to his guiding
