Before the cross, the Passion,
Before He washed His disciples' feet
even the feet of Judas, of Peter,
the one who betrayed Him,
the one who denied Him
all those who ran away...
 
Even before the manger,
His birth in a lowly stable
Christ became mortal
leaving eternity
a kernel of heaven
in Mary’s womb...
 
Fully God but fully Man,
folded into the smallest seed of humanity,
listening to the heartbeat of Mary,
Jesus, our Lord and Savior
As we were in the secret place
formed in our mother's womb...
 
A kernel of heaven
inside the bounds of time
living as we do, mortal,
nine months of quiet, of waiting,
Every child before they are born,
like our risen Lord and Savior...

I Am the One who will be resurrected

If you do not believe in me

you do not believe in God;

Do you believe in God,

then believe also in me.

 

I have come to earth

to fulfill the Law, the Prophets,

at the calling, the purpose of God

in this time, for this reason.

 

Believe in me, in my name, my identity,

believe in our Father God in heaven;

He is the One who sent me

to whom I will return.

a light to pierce the darkness

to illuminate the way, the path,

that leads to the heart of God.

for darkness surely prevaileth,

the world is filled with darkness

so far from the will of God

“Father, glorify your name!”

A shout, words of power, worship,

of awe for the Father, God,

forever seated in heaven.

 

“Father, glorify your name!”

Not words of hesitance, of anguish,

Words of life, of light, of power,

of confidence within Him.

 

“Father, glorify your name!”

A prayer before His Passion

Christ’s voice raised up to heaven

to our eternal Father unseen.

the precious oil upon His feet

her hair as the towel.

 

The fragrance of the perfume

the extravagance, the worship,

her love poured out on Him

as a sacred offering.
