a confection of gossamer
conjured from the ether
words already written
planted on the sea
words gathered from the wind
of gossamer, of fantasy, of
texture,
other fruits, history, other
seas
gathered, written down
words planted on the oceans
scattered to the four winds
offered to the flowing ether
to the shifting sands of
time.
prose poured into the waters
poems throw up into the wind
words, seeds, a living harvest,
in God’s good time alone.
