Singing in Babylon – v2

Sing of the King,
the love of our God
beside us, with us,
watching over us
in our captivity, or trials,
our struggles in life

He is with us
Sing of Zion,
of His steadfast love,
sing from the mountaintops,
His name forever
here in Babylon

Praise and Thanksgiving – v2

Give praise and thanksgiving
to God, the Lord Almighty,
His acts are so amazing
in His power of creation
in His faithfulness
to all His people,
even when we stray;
His love endures forever,
give Him honor and praise.

Worship

A way of living
mindful of wonder
of the majesty of your name
your power in creation
that you have held us up
remaining faithful to your people
worship in all that I do
in how I walk in this life

With All My Heart

Nothing to be held back
praising you God almighty
before your temple
even before the nations
those who do not believe
May I ever sing your praises
with all my heart
nothing to be held back
singing praises to my king

Idols that Rust

The idols of this world
soulless treasure
returning to the earth
no lasting value
when we are gone

Idols of rust
that speak no truths
the same as their makers
going to the grave
with the dust of men
