In Gratitude

Each day walking
mindful of my gifts
the love that is shared
given to me
freely, unearned
in my path, this life

Needing to be humble
grateful, joyful
walking in gratitude
expressed, reflected
shared with others
and with our God too.

Too busy, cluttered
our lives filled to the rim
needing to slow down
to be thankful today

Called to another way
seeing the gifts we receive
healed on our walk
needing to be thankful today
