Listen to God,
to His still small voice,
the Spirit speaking to us,
now, even now.
 
Listen to God,
for His direction,
for His calling,
for His purpose now.
 
Listen to God,
heed God’s whisper,
follow the path,
of the risen Christ.
 
Listen to God,
for God is speaking,
calling each of us,
to follow His way.

Shouting in a Whisper – v5

God’s calling us

Wisdom shouting

the Spirit joining us

out in the world;

Living waters flowing

welling up inside, within us.

shouting in a whisper

in sheer silence, stillness,

speaking directly to us.

In gentle measures, calling

wooing us to follow;

Whispering love, God’s promises,

to live in the Way;

Acting on our callings,

the stirrings of the Holy Spirit;

Using all of our gifts for God’s glory

going the way of the cross.

God’s Guiding Hand – v2

If we stop and notice we will see

not just the bits of grace put in our path

God’s guiding hand is ready to lead us

to bring us through our trials, our doubts

the challenges we each face in life.

God will be there, always

when we need Him,

when we think we don’t

need Him in our lives.

God is ready to bring us to Himself

warm embrace, endless love;

God is ready to guide us through life

with a loving hand and

a still small voice.
