we thank you for Advent, for these weeks
gathering to celebrate your birth,
Your Word made Flesh
we thank you for all the light shining,
only waiting for the Christ candle
on Christmas Eve
We thank you for family and friends
who are gathered
here on this hallowed ground
we thank your for all you have given us
and we offer these gifts as a small portion
of what you have given us.
Use them Lord in a mighty way,
hastening the day of Your return.
